Colour transfer onto light clothing can happen in the first few weeks. Buff the surface dry with a cloth.
Keep hardware dry after saltwater; brass patinas but salt pits it.
Leather darkens where your hand and jacket touch it. That's patina, not wear — don't try to even it out.
Send it back to us instead of binning it if a stitch or zipper fails — first-year repairs are free.
